2021 Edition Report

The 2021 edition of The Entrepreneur Africa Awards which was held at Oriental Hotel, VI, Lagos, was described as the high point of the Year For entrepreneurs and businesses from across African nations who participated; and that exactly was the goal

The award ceremony, which is in its 5th edition, commenced with an open nomination during which over 1,500 unique entries were made for entrepreneurs and businesses. The shortlisted nominees were eventually put up for public voting, culminating in the award dinner where both the nominees and eventual winners were honoured.

The award event was graced with important personalities like business leaders, career professionals, CEOs and a host of others in Africa.

The event, which witnessed beautiful performances by notable musicians, and Comedians was hosted by NDTalks and Miss Tolu, both of Silverbird Television.

The CEO of The Entrepreneur Africa 360 Ltd, Mr. David Agu Esq., in his welcome address applauded, the way in which African entrepreneurs conducted businesses in the year under review, which resulted in faster recovery than was expected from the impact of COVID 19 pandemic, for African economy.

He further celebrated the determination of the entrepreneurs who didn't allow the challenges of the pandemic to weigh them down but rather looked for Creative ways to surmount those challenges.

Some of the winners of the award included Mary Queen Komoda (Vice President, IMMERI International) for TEA Award for Corporate Social Responsibility, Eldorado King for Financial Services Personality of The Year, TBCS Logistics for Logistics Brand of The Year, Iroghama Ogbeifun for Outstanding Female Entrepreneur of the Year, Africa's Young Entrepreneurs Organization for NGO of The Year, Uche Amatokwu for Realtor of The Year, etc. See previous winners

Bukola Omidire (CEO, Pure Buks Lapels) went home with the prestigious Young Entrepreneur of The Year award which include benefits such as N500,000 worth of business support and N100,000 cash.
